5.5 ed and ex text editors
These are line text editors. They originated for use with printing terminals.
The commands can be used in vi, other than that they should probably
not be used much. There is, typically, no prompt.
When reading or writing files the editor will print the number of bytes.
For the most part DO NOT plan on using these editors.
