• Parallel instruction tracks
  The class will follow three tracks through the semester. Some days the material covered will relate to more than one track. The tracks are interrelated and interdependent, they can not be, effectively seperated. The labs will also relate to all three tracks. Some labs will apply to one of the tracks more than the others.

• Viewpoint.

  See Powers of Ten Video and Silicon Magic Video.. The Powers of Ten video lets you look at your word through various viewpoints. Getting the "right" viewpoint to approach a problem is often half of the battle. If one viewpoint doesn't work, try another. The video is 16 minutes long

  The Silicon Magic video is a short and somewhat silly look at the technology (and hardware) that is driving the "computer revolution". After seeing Powers of Ten perhaps this will give you a different viewpoint about coumpters.
