3.3 Book reports
You will need to do two book reports this semester. The books
must be non-fiction, non-textbook, non-manual, computer related
books. If you have a question about a specific book, PLEASE
ASK. The book reports are required, must be done with a word
processor, and be proof read by the writing lab.
The writing lab is located in the Tutoring Center on the
second floor of West Campus
AL building in room AL210 (206-6610).
The reports should be your thoughts on the subjects covered in the book,
NOT a summary of the books content. The length of the reports
is expected to be between 4 and 8 pages each (Not counting cover
sheets).
Failure to turn the book reports on time
will result in lowering your
final class grade by 1% per week that each report is due.
Failure to satisfactorily complete both book reports
will result in a incomplete for the class if your numeric standing
is better than 70%. Otherwise you will get a D, F, or Y as
shown above. Please see the reading list for
possible books to read.
